Requests to Use a Pre-Existing Eligibility List
Directors seeking to fill a classified vacancy may request to use a pre-existing eligibility list for that classification which has already been established for another appointing authority.
- To make this request, please complete and submit the Request to Use a Pre-Existing Eligibility List form via the link at the bottom of this page.
- Once submitted, you will be contacted to confirm that the classified vacancy you wish to fill is substantially similar to the position for which the list was originally established.
- If it is confirmed, the PRC Director may then recommend to the Commission that use of the list be granted.
Please Note
If your appointing authority is granted use of a pre-existing list, it will be treated as any other eligibility list originally established for your appointing authority. This includes all requirements regarding expiration, exhaustion, certification of names, and future testing as outlined in the PRC’S Administrative Rules.
