Description of Board and Responsibilities:
The Board streamlines the process under which the County adopts, amends, and administers administrative policies, rules, and regulations.
To submit a rule to be considered by the Administrative Rules Board, please email the following information to the ARB Clerk:
- Requesting entity (Department)
- Rule Title(s)
- Action(s) requested (amendment of permanent rule, adoption of permanent rule, temporary rule)
- Please let us know if you are requesting a waiving of the two-reading rule and why
- Attach the rule(s) itself for the ARB members to review
Qualifications:
Members serve at the virtue of their positions with Cuyahoga County. Please see the enabling legislation for more information.
