General Services


The General Services Department of the Fiscal Officer provides services to new business owners within Cuyahoga County by serving as the issuing agent for Vendor Licenses for the State of Ohio.

 

Vendor's Licenses

Ohio law requires any person or business making retail sales of tangible personal property or taxable services to register for the sales tax by obtaining a vendor’s license.


Cigarette Vendor's Licenses

Any person engaging in the wholesale or retail business of trafficking in cigarettes within the state must have a cigarette vendor's license.



Dog Licenses

Having a license for your dog isn’t only a law, but it’s also a lost dog's ticket home! When a dog has its license attached to its collar, the assigned license number helps our office identify the dog's owner.
