Cuyahoga County’s Business Growth Lending program is intended to maximize the potential of established businesses and support their growth within Cuyahoga County. We are committed to helping businesses flourish, as business growth adds new jobs to Cuyahoga County, helping more County residents earn the money they need to support their families.

The Business Growth Lending program is available to any established business in Cuyahoga County. Established companies in need of financing to support growth within Cuyahoga County may be eligible for a repayable, fixed-term loan.

To participate in the program, a business should work with the Cuyahoga County Department of Developed staff to provide the needed information about:

• The business and its financial situation
• Funding the business needs to support its growth
• The number, rate of pay, and quality of new jobs the business will create as a result of growth

The baseline loan amount and repayment terms offered will first be set by applying traditional commercial loan underwriting guidelines. Terms may be adjusted to be more favorable than prevailing market rates for commercial loans based on the information provided to the Department of Development.
