Collections Cases


If you need to determine which collection agency your unpaid court costs have been referred to, please contact the Clerk of Courts office at 216-443-7982.

 

There are several payment options to make a payment on Cuyahoga County debt that has been certified to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

 

By Phone:

Call 1-888-871-8838 and an account representative can process your payment.

 


 

Online:

Ohio Attorney General Pay Online

There is a $4.00 transaction fee for Internet Checks or a 2.5% fee for Credit Cards; the minimum Credit Card fee is $1.00.

 

By Mail:

Mail a personal check, certified check or money order made payable to the Ohio Treasurer of State and be certain that your account number is on the form of payment so that the funds are applied to your account. Then mail the payment to:

(Personal checks can take up to 14 days to clear)

 

 

 

In Person:

You can make a payment at any Ohio Attorney General Office, which include Cleveland, Youngstown, Toledo, Cincinnati, and Columbus. The address for each is:
